10. Herbology wandering through the paths of Pelion.
Daily Programme:
Meeting point: will be in the village square of Lafkos, outside the shop «Syllogi Zafeiriou» at 11 am
After our welcome briefing we will have a small walk around the village of Lafkos. Then we will leave and start our hike along the cobbled paths taking us through olive groves with panoramic views of the sea and the islands of Alata and Trikeri.
We will have the opportunity to admire and photograph the flora, much of which is unique to the area. Mid-way we will have the chance to rest and take in the beautiful chapel of Messosporitissa.
After our small break, we will start our seminar, with the guidance of our botanologist we will make with the seeds and herbs from nature various and simple preparations useful for our everyday care and wellbeing.
Once we finish we will go to the beautiful seaside village Milina. There we will swim if the weather is good of course. After we take in the view and relax, we will start our journey back to Lafkos for 1.30 hours. If desired, and upon agreement we can return by taxi.
Program duration: is 4 hours without hiking back to Lafkos (extra 1.30 hours)
